When others who care about you make rules for you, they aren't trying to make your life more difficult or try and hurt you. It's the exact opposite! Since they love you, they want the best for you and teach you to make good choices. They want you to be safe, healthy, and happy.

In the Bible, the book of Galatians compares the choices we make in life to seeds that we plant. But the one who plants while following God's Word and his commandments harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. That person gets God's blessings.
