The threat is continuing to grow closer and closer to Grace’s house.  And, as word spreads about the plans for the new Family Fun Center, popular opinion is also beginning to shift!  What will become of Grace, the Morrisons and Gilead Lane?  And how will they decide what God wants them to do?

Like Mr. Morrison said at the end of today’s story, “When you're under attack, you can go into fear mode.  Or you can go into busy mode...  Or, you can simply go...to God.”  So, often we get so focused on the problem that we forget that we don’t have to fear or fight, we can put our trust and our hope in the God of creation!  Remember what Jeremiah 6:16 says: 

This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it. And you will find rest for your souls.

So, when you find yourself standing at that crossroad, not sure what your next step should be; what you should do or what you should say, ASK where the good way is; ASK before you move; remember that God is good and He loves you and you can trust Him.  Then, once He has given you the way, make sure that you then “walk in it”, and like Jeremiah says, “you will find rest for your soul.”
